Brennos
I purchased some glowlight tetra's, and i seem to have got a random fish in the bag, he doesn't school with the glowlights, but swims around and eats fine, I would like to ID him, so I can get him some mates. Sorry about the pics, My camera is rubbish, and this fish is fast
SamH
I'd say s/he's a WCMM/White Cloud Mountain Minnow (http://images.google.co.nz/images?hl=en ... a=N&tab=wi) Luckily for you they're pretty cheap. HTH
diver21
gotta disagree with you sam and say its a female cherry barb. http://www.aquahobby.com/gallery/e_cherry.php
SamH
That would have been my second guess but it doesn't look round enough in the photos. Although the colouration and patterning does look more like it. I'm sure Brennos will let us know
Barrie
where did you buy it from
Neon
I'd say it's a cherry barb. They're cool fish. The males are bright red when mature. This one looks like a female.
Brennos
gotta disagree with you sam and say its a female cherry barb. http://www.aquahobby.com/gallery/e_cherry.php Correct. That is what she is. Radnom has been identified where did you buy it from Goldfish Pagoda in Pakuranga. Accidently I might add, I wanted Glowlight Tetras I'd say it's a cherry barb. They're cool fish. The males are bright red when mature. This one looks like a female. My friend has barbs, I sent him a pic and he sent me one of his females, and they are identical. So my mission this week, is to get 4 more cherry barbs, and in a couple of weeks, some more Glowlights :D
