livingart
Any fishermen/women in the Tauranga area? i am looking for small sharks up to 1 metre, stingrays, moray eels, legal sized fish for a large cold water marine tank can pick up from tauranga wharves if needed dogfish types are best as they don't need constant movement just fresh salt water live bait bins are good for transporting

repto
better wisen them up on the correct handling techiquie lA?have done a bit of this with the napier aqurium in the past and you have to be o so careful,as you probably know? The ammount of fish that get given to the aquarium that look good at first and within a few days develop a defiate fungusy hand print!! on their collection trips they use barbless hooks, slow retrievel and wet plastic bagged hands as little as possible.they even degass some with a hypodermic needle to let excess gas out of the swimbladders.
