Vinnie Posted October 15, 2009 Report Share Posted October 15, 2009 My partner and I are going to get a new tank built soon but I'm wondering if we move to a place that has a wood floor and not a slab will it go though the floor. Carlos & Siran Posted November 20, 2009 Report Share Posted November 20, 2009 If it's 600 joists, I guess it must as it's standard, that's 3 joists under the tank, perhaps you could prop them up with 4x4 uprights under the house, just chock them so they're nice and firm, though I guess once there's 800 odd kgs on them they won't be going anywhere. You would be best to chat up an engineer when you select the house you want. That (and most large tanks) would be a lot more than is normally on a domestic floor.
