  2. I'm selling the mum and dad if someone can pick them up (lower hutt) pm me. $45
  3. I only have two of them now. here is a picture of the last of them on the way out to their new home.
  4. It must be time to register the breeding.
  5. you can see their stripes now and all have the angel shape.
  6. :happy2: There is 70-80 fish now, and some are looking like angels, and i'm keeping up with the feeding and water changers. so all is good at the mo.
  7. I must say that I no longer have the L255 medusa. And I think it’s a female too, so I traded it for something better. I don't have permission to disclose this deal, sorry. but I do think it was a fear deal And yes an L255 medusa is a very nice looking fish.
  8. I have got some news about the parents, There is a lot of new eggs, hundreds  :nilly: I thinks its time to make room for some fish.
  9. I will keep that in mind when i am thinning out the tank, Zayne. They are a lot of work but they are in good condition and about the size of a baby guppy now. Some have died, maybe less than 6, the others eat them up because they are hungery little fish.
  10. WOW thats heaps. I dont have much room for all my new fish so i am clearing out my 4ft 210L slowly, but they won't be in there for a bit
  11. Yip thats what they are doing now. they seem to hang out together in the bottom corner of the tank and when i get close they all head for the top to get food. I think there is about 150 of them and they all have little red eyes. I could watch them all day.
  12. I will catch a can for him at the supermarket tomarrow. he likes his cans
  13. Thanks alanmin4304 will do. So I will feed them when their yolksac has gone and all are up and about. is that right? yes some do take off but then rest on the bottom of the tank. :nilly: I tryed to get a good photo of one but they move too quickly and are small so this one is a bit fuzzy.
  14. Thanks folks, i think will keep this post going as they grow and add photos as i do. Mum and dad have both been put into the community tank.
  15. Thanks alanmin4304 I thought they were eating but at close inspection they are just hanging to the log and they still have a little yolk sac Here is a photo of them in their new accommodation (some keep running away from home) There are lots more that you cant see, maybe 80-100 of them.
  16. I have had to remove the mother first because the father was attacking her. I then removed all the babies to another tank to give them the best chance of survival. There is no gravel in the new tank and a spounge filter. I will use liquid food until they can eat larger particles after that maybe decap. I dont have a good source of green water but i do have the log that the parents had put them on, which has algae on it. they seem to be eating the algae. Is ther anything i'm forgeting?
  17. I thought I should post some pictures of the family. :happy1: Mum Dad Babys
  18. He is all fluff. under that there is a skinny cat that eats like a horse This is an old photo when he was a kitten
  19. A couple of days after that photo was taken he tryed to jump onto the tank but the lid was off hehe.
  20. Here is Ben, my cat, he likes fish. Maybe this should be in the catfish section?
  21. How about an L255 any good at sexing them? it was a bit camera shy.
  22. Thank you very much :happy2: and i will be looking into getting a boy now . what price do they go for?
  23. I just got a pm from someone wanting me to lend it out, but if i can setup a colony i would be over the moon. A boy would be nice as she may be lonely.
