Philips energy savers on special

at countdown in palmy. I presume its a nationwide thing.

The Warm white 24W bulbs are only $4 down from $8 or $9.

24W in this energy saver = 125W of normal bulb light.

They are 6500K I am lead to believe and are good for plant growth.

On another note, I noticed that they write 24w with the "w" in small letters which is wrong. It should be 24W in capitals. :o :lol: :oops:

The have used a capital W it is just thet they used a bigger 24 :P

it is a little w even in their 125w the w is little.

actually the box says its 2700K.

im an idiot. no good for plants then?

The only decent K bulbs I've found were the ones in a red and blue box at Bunnings, 6500k. I too made a mistake when buying bulbs, I was so ingrossed in the watts and K rating that I got screw in not beyonett sp.? :oops:

I was going to comment on the 3m stud but remembered I am supposed to be setting a good example in our family friendly forum :lol:

it is a building term and purely used as a counterpoint to p44's talk of changing light bulbs

any misconstruction of what was written and meant is solely on the part of the reader :D
