lmsmith
I got quoted $310 for 1500x600x500. $490 including packing and delivery. That's in 12mm glass from tanks2u. Don't know how he does it so cheap!
Cricketman
Massive bulk glass orders from china? or the aliens drop him some off on the way in/out of Area 51...
Barrie
2nd hand and off cuts I buy over $30,000 worth of glass per month and buying 12mm by stock sheets is still more costly that that. Some large companies use 12 mm for say table tops and the off cuts (wastage) are worked into the cost of the job so instead of expensive dumping, they will sell to tank makers and the like

Don't know how he does it so cheap! Nope Greg makes them himself in a little industrial unit. He used to be a glazier. Doesnt take long to make a tank when you know what you are doing, its just cutting and sticking glass together. Ive had 3 custom tanks made by him now, see my nano tank thread. He made my 4ft, and just did an identical 4ft for a mate too. All very cheap, and the build quality is good.
