No biggie I thought, I'll just go into Sony and get a new one.... FIFTY DOLLARS!!!!!!!!!! The whole damn player only cost $200!! I really don't feel like paying that much for a simple cable with two little plugs on the end, so I'm putting a call out to anyone who knows anyone who has had a Sony MP3 player lost/stolen/broken or simply has a spare cable they want to sell. Surely there must be an abundance of spare cables somewhere out there, I've looked on TradeMe but haven't found any, or any cheap chinese knock-offs.
