how rare are Microsorum pteropus 'Tropica'

and Microsorum pteropus 'Philippine'

in New Zealand anyone have any of either species?

Thanks

To the best of my knowledge there is quite a lot of M. pteropus, quite a bit of pteropus windelov, some pteropus Philippine, a little bit of pteropus narrow leaf and no pteropus tropica.

Surely there must be some Microsorum pteropus 'Tropica' somewhere in NZ, I had sum, but that was 8 years ago mind you.

hmm interesting. anyone else got any info?

ive never seen the tropica on any plant suppliers list, and it has never come in as something else by mistake either. as for the other one... the Phillipine - it occasionally comes through as java fern in a shop.

when you order heaps in you can see some difference in the two types.
