Living Art Wildlife Park, Working bee!

Cricketman

Recommended Posts

Well I'm a definite for tomorrow - leaving here at 8am. Will most likely get lost - I don't really drive very much out of Auckland. Have got hold of a petrol fueled weed eater, spare coils and safety gear - and yes I do know how to work it. Will bring a pair of loppers and secateurs plus a spade

and some other fishy bits and pieces if I can find them.

Anyone want a ride, speak now or forever hold your peace!!!

big thanks to

dimebag and carl for supplying the materials and erecting a fence

adodge, sue, ingrid and alexa for the gardening work

leon, jethro and alan for clearing and carting rubbish

adodge supreme effort for travelling from auckland with her weedeater

good to meet you at long last

to those who couldn't make it, you were here in spirit and your names were mentioned

one of the things i like about this forum is that you get a picture in your mind of people from the way they post on the forum

then meeting them can change your perception

it is also like meeting a friend you haven't seen for a while

sorry i didn't get to have a good chat, my day was as usual busy

and cricketman was called into work so couldn't be here

me was gopher for the day

adodge and sue had to weed around a sitting chicken

yep, well you can add a few more on than that - my sons nearly 21. I'm nearly as old as you and I know what you mean about taking people as you find them.

Forums can be very misleading as to the sex and age of people as we all know. :(

As as for the chicken (hen), if everyone looked after their babies like her it would be a better world!!!

Anyway I had a great day and if you need a hand in the future feel free to ask away. If I can help I will.

You have beautiful animals, as for the fish - well I forgot to look!!! lol
