morfin
Hiya We want to add a school of cardinals to our community tank, and know that the lemons and odessas will be fine with cardinals but will angels actually eat them. The two angels we currently have are about nine months old and beautiful, but I'm not going to sacrifice any fish "just to see if it works". Their mouths don't really look big enough but I figure they probably aren't fully grown yet. Tank is nine months old so will be mature enough and big enough at 190 litres for the cardinals to be happy. Your thoughts?
Cheesejawa
Kind of going off topic. But I alawys wondered where that myth that angel eat neons but not cardinals came from.
Ira
Cardinals are bigger, maybe?
Foxjxa
I'd agree with mystic. It all depends on the size of your angels and cardinals... if the angels are big and the cardinals are young and small... you can kiss them goodbye.
Slightly Blue Dalmation
like lots of fish if it will fit in its mouth thats where it will end up. many people have told me with angels if add them when are small they wont be so interested in eating the fish they grow up with
