Ira
That would have been really good with a wider DOF or focused on the closer seeds instead of a couple rows back.
MarkLB
That would have been really good with a wider DOF or focused on the closer seeds instead of a couple rows back. Perhaps this is the one I should have posted....the focus is a little further forward I'm open to any criticisms and advice....I'm still learning. Rozski
I can't claim this one, my partner took it the other day at home 8) PS. Had to downsize this a ridiculous amount to post it. Kept telling me photos must be no more than 640 pixels wide. Had to get this photo down to 28K in size before it would let me use it :-? MarkLB
Nice pic. :bounce:
Caryl
Rozski you must be downsizing incorrectly. You should be able to resize the pixels without dropping the kbs that much.

Caryl
Grant is learning how to use his new Canon EOS450D and EFS60USM lens. These bugs are all over the place and when they bite I come up in huge whelts. They are only about 1mm long but vicious! This one was sitting on one of those plastic fold-out picnic tables... We lit a mozzie candle and that seemed to keep them at bay. Pity it didn't work on the flies as well
Caryl
Anyone know what this bug is? :-?

Rozski
Not quite as macro as the insects, but I was using the macro lens, and plus I can't find the other photography thread haha. Was learning how to utilize all the cameras functions properly (Tv mode etc) Have posted them with a link to a bigger/more detailed file than is allowed to be posted in here, so you can see better versions (still downsized a lot from original tho) http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f69/R ... gel2DS.jpg http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f69/R ... inalDS.jpg http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f69/R ... Rozski
Yeah I found that thanks Zev 8) Just haven't decided which photo, or whether I want to take more to get a good one And judging by this months comp, apparently people like photos of rare fish - which I don't have haha
Zev
I would beg to differ, it is all about composition and photographic quality rather than the subject matter. You could easily put a good photo of a Guppy in there and give everyone a run for their money. Nice frog pic BTW.
