Hi all, i'm going to be in the lovely South Island for business the week of the 14th this month, does anyone know some good places to visit that keep reptiles, native and exotic, i'm going to be in Dunedin, Christchurch and Nelson/Blenheim over the course of the week so any info or invites would be appreciated.

Cheers

Chris

Willowbank wild life park in Christchurch has a huge pond full of red ears that they let hibernate there over the winter, also a tortoise or two. Just down the road from there is Redwood aquatics...fish and turtles...Dunedin has the new butterfly farm which has turtles in ponds in it as well. From what I've heard thats a pretty amazing place to visit. Will definately be going one day when I make it to Dunedin. Have a fun trip :D

yeah I have heard of that butterfly place, I have been to the one up here and it was awesome, dont know if I will have the time to visit it but you never know. I am taking one of my reps with me and have warned him of the extra activities we will be doing while on the trip, poor guys getting used to it now I drag him all over the place :bounce:

Donna your'e lucky to have a female Reeves, I lost my female last year after she went walk about and have two males going nuts, no females around though!!
