mitzy Posted March 26, 2008 Report Share Posted March 26, 2008 Hi For the first 24 hours i think it is, The mother wont touch them but the others mite, I normally put mine in a breeding cage they way i can also see they getting enough food and are growing etc. If you leave them some will survive and some may get eaten. Simian Posted March 26, 2008 Report Share Posted March 26, 2008 Depends a lot on how heavily planted your tank is really IME lots of fine leafed plants and moss and they will be mostly fine. Neon Posted March 27, 2008 Report Share Posted March 27, 2008 I just saw my first baby platy today - but it got eaten straight away by my apistogramma I've now shifted the mum platy to another tank, but there's some small gold gourami in there.
