ryanjury
Or bloody unco fish keepers... I was out in the fishroom feeding my jullies and pulled the front half of the lid back to get some microworms in to the babies pulled it a little too far and it fell onto my foot one corner puncturing it An awful lot of blood came out but I just got my wife to bandage it and waited for a few hours but pain got worse and noticed some tingling etc in my toes, off to medical to get some morphine and find out I may have damaged a nerve, had to get xrays (and have them dig around in it) to make sure no glass is left get some stiches.. The only bad thing is now the drugs are all wearing off and my foot hurts! lol I don't know why I keep fish!

ryanjury
Thanks it just hurts The airforce doc wanted to get a orth surgeon to look at the nerve damage but as the wound was only 3cm's long but deep they said it was too small for them to operate on so hopefully it comes right by itself.. Guess ill have to slow down now lol
candy
oh ouch!!! If its hurting then sit with it up hip hight or higher. Seems to help with my bad foot. Also you will feel more pain if its cold so try keep it warm

cichlid7
yea it hurts when something like that happens hope the pain goes away soon and wear shoes next time you go in the fish room i took a big chunk out of my wrist (just missed my vein so i guess i was very lucky) i was paying attention to what i was doing and forgot about the tank in front of me and left part of my wrist on the top corner point on the tank and it has just healed after 19 or so weeks (i didn't go to the doctors so i did not get any stitches so i guess thats why it took so long) just got a nice scar there now So your not the only dumbass lol and i bet there are alot of other who have done something similar. Guest
Sorry to hear about your foot. Have you tried to let the gold ram parents raise their own fry? I wish my rams would spawn.
ryanjury
I haven't actually that is the next plan to date this it the first time i've ever had any sort of ram survive more than 2 spawn's they usually keel over the first couple of spawns for no apparant reason so I decided to ensure I raised some by taking the egg's.. From now on ill just leave the pair in their own tank to it, the other pair ill take their eggs because they'll be fishfood anyway..
