I would like them to be slightly bigger, top-middle dwelling and fairly colourful. Any suggestions? I don't know that many fish species so thought I'll ask on here. Would like to avoid danios, I've had 5 leopard danios before, when I sold them the last one took me about 2 hours to catch. Harlequin Rasboras look nice but I think my tank temperature is too high for them, it's constantly at 26-27. And my tank would be too small for rainbows? They sure look nice. I might pop into Jansans and Hollywoods tomorrow and take a notepad with me, take down the the names of fish I like, look them up on google, then decide. Unfortunately there wasn't that many I liked, but I did buy two blue rams, unable to sex them yet, hopefully I can keep them alive and well. I took a careful look at them and they didn't look like they are worth that much, so I held off on buying them. Now back to looking at other fishes... henward Posted January 7, 2008 Report Share Posted January 7, 2008 love arowanas in am aroholic i love them! especially the way they eat:D noticed something my jardinii eats massive amounts of food! it now eats 6 to 8 pieces of shrimp each day! the thing is, i think it measures its efforts by the number of swallows, no matter how big the shrimp is, its always same number, i think they get tired of swallowing food, so they can only take a certain amount wether its small or large chunks of meat or shrimp Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
