peterpindare
you dont have to live in the us to own a snake, ive got 1 brisbane python and i love as a pet, feed it once a week and they are happy!!i cant beleave that they dont even have snakes at the zoo!! thats just poor man. well aussie is just 3 hours away from nz and they dont allow snake that are not EVEN venomous! i might have to send a snake to nz and see what happens lol but whats funny is that in nz they are allowed dragon lizards and when they bite they hert more than a snake bite , plus if the dragon lizards didnt have legs it would almost look like a snake!! Caryl
Whether a snake is venomous or not has nothing to do with why they are banned. It is to protect our native birds and animals.
henward
yeah true although i think our native animals are really really boring but some of them are really cool, like tuatara wetas, kiwis and stuff. but snakes are cool the thing is tha tmost snakes will die in nz winter anyways it stoo cold here
