broms2
does anyone have these together in an enclosure, and if so how do they get along
livingart
get on alright, beardies are faster than the blue slugs been together for 2 years, 2 metre x 60cm floor space

broms2
Yeah Mark, I remember seeing a bluey in with your beardies, I have just got a pair and have that big enclosure but just not sure weather to mix them.
livingart
try them just keep your eye on things had a little agression from bluey at start, but soon settled down, when i think he got used to them being there blueys dont jump whereas beardies do so you can lift branches slightly off the ground to give beardies safe perches introduce them when you have time to sit and watch for awhile or you could try an hour each day
robbert
so you can do this? i have 1 beardie still little, would love a blue as well but no room for another tank, so if they can live together thats awsome?

Beardy_dude
it is never reccommended to mix reptile species but a trial could be ok i personally wouldnt do it because my beardie is very teritorial and attack bluey till dead plus it is frowned apon lol. But yet again i say give it a try and watch them very closely And tell us how it goes.
livingart
its a pity your beardie killed a blue tomgue 8) sometimes our beardies sit on the blues back under the heat lamp as i said before you, need to try this in stages and make sure you watch the interaction between your animals. a small enclosure with no hidey holes puts them in each others space all the time small gaps under rocks or logs will give the bluey a chance and elevated branches gives the beardies an escape route
repto
I can beat that,my beardy ate a water dragon, well not quite but thats what he was trying to do.actually probably would have choked on it if i hadn`t found him, they were about the same size but the beardys mouth being bigger and wider....????
