I'm not sure at this stage - I'll need to dig a little deeper. Either way, a ready supply of Copepods has got to be good (assuming tropicals will take temperate pods and I can convince them that they should supply us. Maybe I should tack it onto our fee?).

A lot of Zooplanktons (shud be accurate here) are global in distribution. Just need to get the list of known Zooplankton species in NZL.

So, hands up who wants to buy tHEcONCH's RSM? Stocked. I'm seriously considering setting up a 4' 'biotype' tank with just the Cataphyllia and Zostera for the two Mandarins, nothing else (well maybe a few zoos or something). Anyone? PM me if you are seriously interested. No, I won't be splitting it up (maybe a group of you wants to form a syndicate and split it amongst yourselves?) PM me. Go on - you know you want it... :bounce:

Maybe a local shop owner could purchase it and we could all scrap over the contents - I'd be making a beeline for the red chile coral and T. micrantha!!

Seriously though are you sure you want to get rid of it? maybe you could just get a second tank and move the mandarins and cataphyllia out? After all the work you've put in it seems a shame to sell it.

to be honest id say alittle, the ones ive seen for sale go for around 1k empty, I was selling mine for 1 k with enough live rock for the tank, But I gues the real question is, do you think you have over 2k worth of stock in there? if so then its probably worth splitting up and then flicking just the tank

I think there is definitely 2K of stock (I paid well more than twice that) - the Acanthastrea is worth plenty on its own, not to mention other rarities like the Chilli coral and black suns. It is still a high price-point, though, I know. Maybe I'll end up 'storing' it with a friend.

I'm in de-clutter mode - I have too many tanks, and spend too much time and money maintaining them - I want to free up some time and money to do other things. I won't be sad to see it go - I need a new (non-fish related) challenge. :D
