A.PROPHECY Posted August 14, 2007 Report Share Posted August 14, 2007 has anyone got tips on this? my lil water dragon (25cm including tail) runs as soon as i put my hand in his tank , takes ages befor i can catch him and he trys to bite and wip me wit his tail hes alright once hes in my hands tho i realy wana get him tame or tameish lol even to feed from my hand would be cool im planning to get two more dragons soon so would like to get this one under control first lol any tips would be cool Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

livingart Posted August 14, 2007 Report Share Posted August 14, 2007 In the dragons eyes you are a bigger predator get them as young as you can as David said handle them at least twice a day catch your dragon and hold firmly sit down and start stroking the sides of his head, talk to it in a calm voice, doesn't matter what you say so long as the tone is calm. you need to be calm as well the dragon will feel the attitude in your body as the dragon calms down you can release your grip slightly do not let the dragon go they are fast and if you spend half an hour chasing him you will further reinforce that you are a bigger predator to escape from We have 2 you can handle and 2 that are not as petable one of those things in life where you get out what you put in Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
