July 1, 200719 yr comment_170622 hey guys, well i went fising the other day and pulled in a snapping turtles about 5kgand just over a foot long, i have pics to prove it and will put them on once im back in nz. i also caught a sunfish (CA cichlid) and a bass pics to come in oct have also seen a coule of box turtles, and a few snakes swiming in the swiming hole that we use yay, i am going on a nature hike tomorrow looking for turtles Report

July 1, 200719 yr comment_170630 Awesome, looking forward to the pics!!! I used to find sunfish in ponds in Hampstead Heath in london - quite pretty fish and hardy too - I'm guessing we couldn't have them here though cause if they can live wild in london I'm guessing they can in NZ too! Report
July 3, 200719 yr comment_171180 can't wait to see the photos, what do box turtles look like? box turtles look sort of like tortoises, a bit boxy-shaped with walky feet instead of swimmy ones, although they can swim quite well. You can get them in NZ. Report
