philosophy king
any ideas? it's just started doing this. and the other one seems fine. note, while its shaking/jerking, the other angle(simular size, maybe slightly bigger) are constantly doing this "kissing" or small biting action to the shaker's mouth. why is this? can some one please explain? thanks! AMAZONIAN
Hi, It may even be the "shimmies" sorry; SOFT SHOE SHUFFLE fishy style. Dont worry you may have a PAIR and that is the first stage of the mating ritual. Next will come the kissy thing, which is a tug of love. 8) If the fry survive and they are "good" parents, you are in for a treat watching them with their family life. I am continuously breeding six colour varieties and two Species. Good luck.
k8
Hey, just to be contrary... we have two very large male angels who do this twitching thing at each other just about 24/7. They've done it ever since they were about 10cmin length and we always figured it was a territorial thing. (But looking at prev replies, maybe they're gay?... Can you get gay fish??) It can get kinda scary when they start biting at each others lips and splashing water everywhere. Hence, we are planning on getting rid of one of ours. *sniff sniff*
