ANGEL FISH HAS A RED AREA BETWEEN THE DORSAL FIN AND TAIL ITS BEEN FINE FOR 6 WEEKS AND NOW SHOWING A RED MARKING WATER TEST IS O.05 Ph 6.8 JUST WONDERING IF ITS A BACTERIA PROBLEM ??? ANY CLUES???

Thanks,could be tetras,water checked out fine, as they have only been in the tank since Sunday they just didnt quite like their new envirament so now I have 4x penquin tetras in with the angels which Ive now removed,given the tank a 20% water change,set temp at 30 and added tonic salt 2 tbsp to 55 lit,the very large angel is brighter now and swimming around whereas the other two are just quietly in the corner still near top of tank and not feeding,their veiltails are still red and shedded,fungus is down to half of what they were this morning ,keeping a good close watch on them

Ive 3 large Veiltails Angels introduced to thetank on Sunday at first a little quiet yesterday eating and thought theyd settling in well this morning all 3 have inflammed shedded tails with fungal growth Ive added Melifex and temp of tank from 27 to 29 what else can I do Ph and Nitrate tests are fine

Ive noticed more people are starting setting up aquaruims .........even myself again after a house change.......... today at the Mount a large Aquarium installed and .................over in Tauranga a wall fiitting going in as a home consultant and fishlover its unavoidable to observe this new craze

Ive just started an Angelfish tank but the very small 20cm size Angels are picking the tails and fins of the other 4 large Angels they really race up to the larger Angels or do I need a seperate tanks till they just grow up???
