How to feed my fish?

I put all my tiger barbs into a big new tank the other day and I've noticed they won't swim to the top for their food. Some of the flake eventually sinks and they eat it but a lot stays floating.

So far I haven't got the sump operating but when I do, all the food is going to sail over the overflow and into the sump before the fish get a chance.

Short of putting the barbs in the sump, how do I get around this problem?

Cheers

That's clever, Misnoma.

I think I have it sussed though. I've used a suction cup to attach some clear piping to the glass. One end is under water and the other isn't. I tried putting some flake in that and it sunk straight away ................ plus there was the fun of watching the fish try to eat what was still in the tube

And all the food remnants have landed in one place on the gravel which should make tank maintenance easy.

All I need to do now is work out how to blow it in from ground level so I don't have to climb all the time

Cheers
