Did the spoon thing the other night and Chong was eating it, first time...couple of the others tried to nip it...when he wasn't looking! Tsarmina, I was wondering if I could freeze it...does it have to be cooked to freeze it? Because I just put it in the tank raw. How often do you folks feed the plecos this? I read somewhere on the net that if they get too much vegies they won't eat the algae, is this true? So, now that he has eaten it, I don't want to give too often.

Hey all I'm cleaning my apartment (walls and such). I have the upstairs done and will be starting the downstairs I am using a cleaner called Pine Sol it has quite a strong smell, wondering if this could somehow affect the fishies???? What do you think?

Did you do a water change? Have you treated with melafix since you noticed the trouble? Is he eating? Gee, what do you all think...if the lady did indeed injure the poor fish, wouldn't it had trouble long ago?

Hi all! Don't know if you can help me with this one since I can't give much info. One of my neons has a lump...ah...I'll try to describe: -not on the gill but down a bit down from it -it looks as though its from the inside coming out (not through him!) and shiny like him! -he looks a little bent or curved a bit -I think he's eating ok -swimming although a little "chobby" sorry can't think of a good word Can't get a pic as my son has my camera, but I doubt if I could get a good pic anyway. Sorry couldn't give better explanation but maybe somebody saw something similar before???
