  2. I know two female angels will lay eggs etc and act like a pair , not sure if the same is true for Rams but both are cichlids so maybe.
  3. when breeding they are easy to sex but when not I've always gone by the "spike" method
  4. I can't be 100% sure but I'm 90% sure you have 2 females Have a look at one of my pairs here , see how the males "spike" is so much longer than the females....... then check out your "male" ...uummm not sure but i'd say two females

  10. I had a great time on Friday at the Tasman club meeting it was very nice to meet a lot of new people and the turn out was fantastic. Thanks to Caryl & Grant for picking me up and putting up with my coughing. I'm sure this club is going to do very well

    Hi Cam same as all other corys , feed well , a meedium size tank , 28L is fine , plenty of cool - cold water changes and you will be away , they are a great fish i have some and have bred them many time Good luck

  17. not a problem Mate , i'm a real big Danio fan and as we all know sometime the petshops get a name wrong or they come in under the incorrect name
  18. Sorry to controdict but the kyathit and the fire ring Danio ( also known as the Red Fin Danio )are two seperate species . The Kyathit came into NZ about 18 months ago for the first time and the Fire ring only in the last 6 months. here is a really great site for Danio information www.danios.info Both are great fish, I've bred the Kyathit many times and the firering is a lot harder.

Thanks for inviting me last night guys , a great meeting and the orange and purple fish was beautiful ( I'm sure it will be there next month for those who missed out , get along the the meeting its worth it just to see that fish ) I'm sure your club has a bright and healthy future ahead with the group who were there last night. also good to see new members turning up Well done guys
