I can't be 100% sure but I'm 90% sure you have 2 females
Have a look at one of my pairs here , see how the males "spike" is so much longer than the females.......
then check out your "male" ...uummm not sure but i'd say two females
As many of you might know our very own Jane Rattee ( the FNZAS Treasurer) was married at the weekend .
So I'd like to introduce the Bride and Groom.
Congratulations to Jane and Craig Hewson
I had a great time on Friday at the Tasman club meeting it was very nice to meet a lot of new people and the turn out was fantastic. Thanks to Caryl & Grant for picking me up and putting up with my coughing.
I'm sure this club is going to do very well
Hi Cam
same as all other corys , feed well , a meedium size tank , 28L is fine , plenty of cool - cold water changes and you will be away , they are a great fish i have some and have bred them many time Good luck
Sorry to controdict but the kyathit and the fire ring Danio ( also known as the Red Fin Danio )are two seperate species . The Kyathit came into NZ about 18 months ago for the first time and the Fire ring only in the last 6 months.
here is a really great site for Danio information
www.danios.info
Both are great fish, I've bred the Kyathit many times and the firering is a lot harder.
your local club has a meeting on the 19th Sept , there will be plenty of people local that can help you , why not pop along
