Kim, thanks for the price thing on the auction , im not the eftpos man LOL. I have been into your shop a couple of times but live in mangere bridge now so cant get there as easy. You may remember me asking if you sold dog treats as my dog didnt like me leaving a pet shop with nothing for her (you gave me one of your own dogs biscuits) so she was happy LOL. Unfortunately we had to put her down 1 week before Xmas as she had cancer, tried operating to remove it but it had spread so after spending $1100 had to put her down. She had been our baby for 10 yrs so a very sad xmas, going to try to get in before you finish up there.

Hi Kim , i dont think you will have any probs breeding them at home , the only special things i did for mine was give them a tank and some water LOL. They certainly seem to love shrimp pellets , i feed them those, Nutrafin bottom feeder tablets & pleco chips & they disappear in that order LOL & courgette of course . Mine seem to be laying eggs about every 2 weeks so i've got a few spares if you need them as you have seen by my Trade Me auction.

I've just finished the Furan2 treatment & no change , she's back in the community tank and gets around ok (doesn't bump into things) eats fine and is getting on with the others so shes ok , shame about being blind in one eye but lifes like that LOL Cheers peoples for your help

Hi Shelley, welcome to FNZAS and the addiction known as FISH . If you have any questions about any aspects of fish keeping you will find a forum to suit, there are a lot of very friendly & knowledgable people in here that have been a great help to me as im sure they will to you. Hi Hillary , i use Eheim 2213 cannister filters in my tanks and have been very impressed by them , they are slightly dearer than some other filters but seem to last forever , have even had guppies & swordtail babies survive for 2 mths in the bottom after being sucked up by the intake LOL

I had two males that got on ok but with a female in there they dont see eye to eye now. Seems neither of them like Silva much , their getting better so ill give it a few days and see how it goes. Would like to keep them all, we'll see how it goes.

Cool :lol: How does 10% daily sound, considering i dont want to dilute the Furan to much, im lucky i've got some left over 4 caps i think so should be enough if i can find a small tank(40L)approx. Thanks Caryl,Ira,Phillz&Jo1

Different strokes for different folks, like i had a pitbull & wouldnt think about a poodle. (Sadly put down 1 week b4 Xmas due to cancer at 10 yrs old)

It seems to swim fine , is giving my silver angel a hard time and only went in last night , it does seem to be blind on the right side.

I've just picked up a black angel fish, got it home & have just noticed what looks like a white spot on one eye, any ideas what it might be?

Someone on Trade Me has a pair of breeding clown loaches 10 cm long , i thought it was basicaly impossible to get them to breed , has anyone else heard of them being breed in tank conditions ?
