  1. we i`m old and have always done it.Cannot do any harm especially on something that has obviously given problems in the past??Not familia with your motor but mine was easy to remove the rocker cover and expose head nuts?
  2. re-torque it after you have done a few k`s in it.
  3. spray jets of water to imitate spring showers are meant to be helpful.
  4. if you can do it yourself no big deal.just done one on my little charade runabout for $30 for gasket,$32 for new radiator cap which blew off when i had it on loosely trying to make it home??a few extra $ for coolant ,sealants etc.Mind you I never planed it and only gave it the once over myself, which was a risk, also never done the cambelt as had been done 2 yrs ago.you should check when yours was done while you have it a part?Done about 3000k`s since so almost back to trusting the old girl again?
  5. your mother looks like a lizard!!! :sml1:
  6. every three weeks if you feed them well.
  7. rotting fruit may attract them(pretty hard for the wingless ones they have to walk everywhere??)but to mantain a replenishing, harvestable population is a bit more work?
  8. and i thought I was bad, pulling the wings off flies???
  9. what difference does it make where the thread is?Discussion is just that, threads evolve and change all the time?get used to it.
  10. border security in general here has pretty strict controls on anything organic be it a living animal or even plant matter and fruit. We have an agricultural based economy so thats the way it has to be.It amazes me some of the things i see people trying to bring in on the border control program despite the warning signs and amnesty bins?
  11. have watched the resident bluetongue living in a friends rock wall in brisbane, every morning as soon as the sun reachs `his` rock, there he is soaking it up,depending on time of year and strength of the sun how long he sits there before tootling off to do his stuff?
  12. should be sweet, feeding area above land so they don`t drop food in the water?
  13. maybe there was??in my bird at least the hen was grossly over weight with huge fat deposits that may have caused the yolk to not pass cleanly into the oviduct.Could be similar with captive reptiles that just have to sit on a rock and wait for the food to arrive?the more the eat the more you give etc?Thats what I was doing with my bird, feeding it up in the hope of more eggs, not these days as I have also discovered that overweight males have a low sperm count and used to get heaps of infertile eggs.
  14. had a pheasant that the same thing happened to.peritonitus was the result and here today gone tomorrow was the result.
  15. wow,you speak beardy?have not managed to pick that up yet?
  16. not sure about mitsi`s but could be the governor gear?take it to an auto specialist,if it is that, not a major fix.
  17. overshot bottom jaw looks a bit gross?breeding fault or diet ,I wonder?
  18. slap not much good?what about a punch or two? Without condoning it in any way shape or form,at least the geckos will be well looked after and a captive bred population should eventuate, much like beardys, bluetongues and leopards here?Apart from the likely hood of in breeding and genetic weakness this has to be a good thing if in years to come we need to repopulate areas?I wonder what percentage of our exotic reptiles came to be here by similar means?
  19. be careful with huhus, the only case of impaction I ever had was caused by these??(in my beardys of course?)
