I guess you have to keep LTA's to know that the white one is bleached and unhealthy notice on both they have very short tentacles compared to the before photo the pink one has coloured up alot since this happened nursing them both at the moment extra feeding on white bait.

No Pies I didn't change Brands I was using the same brand I have been using for months I was using 250ml and increaesed it to 600ml according to Zeovit instructions and running it in the sump in a very high flow place<> Brendon said to move it to a low flow place and I have reduced it back to 250ml Brendon also said it was probably the clearity of the water<> It was clear as!!! The LTAS were both up high<> as the BTAS were down the bottom. IN ANSWER TO THE QUESTION DO YOU USE CARBON IN A FILTER NO!!!!! We just made that point very clear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also depending on the quailty of carbon as how much to use!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unfortunalty we learn by our mistakes the hard way

Same problem I lost a slipper coral my one and only branch coral is having die back and my two LTAS are bleached and reduced back in size big time BTAS and very thing else ok Try and take pics today

Ira I would think I am looking at one of my Anemones in that photo it's a LTA Mine was large with colour which I had nursed from white when I bought it I put my carbon at a larger amount in a high flow part of the sump and both my LTA bleached Now they both are very light sensitive I will put some before and after pics up for you It didn't change the BTA's (odd)

Getting Stocktake out of the way then I'm onto it. Pies is it best to take the photos with the Halides on or off.

When we upgraded into the same spot we used large chilly bins and bought large plastic bins with lids from plastic shop. chillly bins can be expensive but we already had five maybe you could borrow some. We used the bath also

Have been toooooo busy but have hired more staff What spare time I've had I have added more rock to the large tank, I think I have finally got there, must have no more room The rock is wall to wall but with plenty of room for fish to hide and feed. Now I know some don't like the wall look but I think it looks good seen I haven't got a lot of room front to back. Had to take the cleaner wrasse out and put him in the small tank he was annoying two of the big fish, I feel bad about it but can't have him stressing the fish, some of the other fish loved him cleaning them. I lost my golden headed sleeper in the end Well thats the up date hope to have a bit more time from now on

Algae looking better than last photos I saw. Love the red stuff I've got some but find it hard to grow to much light I think, its doing better in my small tank.

TM, I feed mine whitebait only because I have #2's given to me. I freeze it in season and use 1 or 1/2 once a week.

Having a lot of Anemones I have never had the above problem. Maybe its hungry I still feed mine.

Are you sure you want to get into acros they seen a lot of trouble to me. If you want flow you can't go past streams. I've had that much flow I had to put them down below the rock, my softies hated it. It's taken lots of trail and error but I think Ive got every thing happy now. I have a small stream in the 2foot square tank and its great no need for other power heads.
