Wasp it is only a frag I broke the big coral up that I bought off reef out of his tank that they came on (how do I know this because I didn't have any Montis before I bought it) So I was able to take it out and wash it.

BUGGER found two today when I was having a good clean up had a look underneath only on one piece at this stage.

Mine eats everything I put in the tank, loves the spirulina Algae tablet catches it on the way down, he is so fat I think he might pop

Photo by Marc Levenson Powder Blue Tangs are relatively tough to keep for most reef keepers. This one came with my new tank, and was very thin at that time. I feed Nori every day, and he is always second in line to start eating the dried seaweed clipped to the glass. Recently he has begun nipping at my green star polyps and a Toadstool Leather. By increasing the food amount, this has declined somewhat. The Powder Blue is much thicker now, and very healthy. Every night it is excited to get more meaty foods during the evening feeding. People tend to call this fish an 'ich-magnet' because they are so hard to keep. If you decide to keep one of these fish, be considerate in giving it a big tank that is at least 6' long, feed it well and feed it often. Reef-safe.

Keep away from those small star fish as they multiply too much.

Yes you can have snails, try and get some off a fellow reefer.

No They are doing very well almost back to normal must take some photos. It was Entacmaea quadricolor I damaged it when moving the rock it was on didn't see it was also stuck to the rock behind.

My big anemone didn't make it

I had them kept picking them off then they just went I was thinking maybe my 6 line wrasse ate them. I broke up the Monti into clean bits and they are looking good now..
