Danios can be very active all over the place and are colourful

I took my 8 year old gold fish on my carry from auckland to Wellington in a fish bag in a plastic container the bag actually burst thank goodness for the container always have a back up I also take freshwater shrimp crabs limpets etc from Auckland to Wellington most holidays on my carry on with no problems which airline was it

It would be better to get two or three kokopu an eel would nearly certainly try and escape looking for a better habitat and if an eel where to stay until it was ready to breed it would have great trouble finding a water way to travel down (unless you have one in your neighbourhood) leading to death

I'm guessing you have a cat in the future fish bowls a very bad always go for a tank not only is it better for the fish but it has a cat prof lid I sh know I have 4 cats

No because it isn't always an aquatic plant it's naturally grows out of the water most of the time

The current weather has got me thinking about something what do fish do when rivers and steams burst there banks or swell to be much faster then normal do they hunker down under rocks or what?

I find that if done correctly nearly any plant can go in gravel like Lilaeopsis glosstigma and hair grass -
Frist of all I know their not fish but this seemed like section I are they in nz I've been reading on how great they are

So I was at the spca today and they have a large red eared slider turtle their keeping it in a small tank where it can't swim I'm posting this in case there's someone in wellington that would want it its male and could do with a good home

After closer inspection I can see a few healhty looking plantlets in the pic would it be possible to get one or two of those
