I first noticed a couple of africans in my tank had sunken bellies at the beginning of april. I have since treated the tank with levamisole, metro in the water, metro in their food and epsom salts. I have been doing 70% w/c weekly with a 20% mid week w/c as well and I have upped the feeding.
Everyone seems to be feeding well and showing good colour but the 2 males i was worried about just arent gaining weight. My taiwan reef is the worst. I didnt feed for 4 days while dosing with metro and fed lightly for 5 days after. He was looking pretty bad. He is looking a little better but still has a really sunken belly. I don't think i am under feeding as the other fish look good, if it was internal parasites i would have thought that the levamisole and metro combined with the epsom salts would have taken care of that.
Aggression is mimimal, bit of chasing but know one is cowering in the corner. I am at a loss as to why they arent gaining weight. They have been on normal feeding for a week or so, whats my next move?
I have a 2ft 70ish L growout with a few juvie yellows that i could put the taiwan in but he is feeding well so i dont know if moving him is gonna help.
