    i think i need to get the ph up but how ? the other readings i think are fine do i add shell for the ph ? or chemical ph

    have tested it now PH is around 7-7.5 Nitrate and Amonia-0 as it should be GH 6 Drops 89.5ppm and KH is the same if i read that right

    how about crushed sea shell well cleaned i can get plenty of that ?

    well i got a bag 1kg from the plant shop if i just wrap it in some thing and place it in the sump should be ok ? and i have washed it a few times as well

    i will rearange my tank with more rocks and change the subsrate to sand and pebble and do water test then i think i will get some fish off you ryan

    yes i looked at my test kit and it just shows and tells drops of kh&gh

    pea metal is just very light gravel from the garden centre not very course at all but i can change it if i have to i have not measured any of the water as yet

    i also have pea metal as a subsrate at the moment will this do or do i need sand and also what about the water specs ?

    those fish look great :lol: the sizes of my tank are 120 x 45 x 50 cm my sump is about 60 litres under the main tank a wet dry i think they call it filters from the over flow outlet in the bottom of the tank down over filter wool then over bio balls

    hi ryan thanks for your help my tank is around 300 litre and i have a wet dry sump of around 60 litres and my pump is aroud 1200 litres an hour plenty of filration

    so you think the yellows and demasoni and some peacock are the way to go ? how many would i need in my tank

    sounds good ryan any thing really special these guys need at all ? and what sort of all up cost would i be looking at including shipping do they like to have plants as well
