  1. Well done layton, someone told me you were a waste of air but I'm beginning to wonder. How can we buy your new product ? Do you take visa ?
  2. Why are people so reliant on what their test kits are saying. If I was you I would be happy with the coral colours you have got. It's a really nice looking aquarium. So what if your nitrate test kit is saying 50 , what is the problem in your tank ? Nitrates are no were as important as phosphates when it comes to coral colouring. You also have to remember that I was using zeovit 3 years before the americans had even heard of the product. Now you are taking the advice from people who's tanks you have not seen in real life. You should rely on your eyeball a bit more. If your corals are looking sad do something about it. Not look at a test kit when your corals are looking good, panic and do something drastic. The confusion with start2 was caused by the manufacturer changing the product. That caused me to say dose .2 ml a day not 2 ml as I would with the newer start2. Ask "cookie extreme" about that. I can't go around the country holding peoples hand when it comes to dosing zeovit. You have my phone number and email address, if you think you are doing it wrong contact me. Brendan
  3. Thats because you are now 6 months into dosing and things change within the tank. Most people are able to adapt the system to suit the tank. I worked out how to use zeovit when the instructions were in German. Brendan
  4. Gee Layton, if your this bitter and twisted about something when you are only young, I would hate to see you when you are 40. I think it is about time you stopped bagging zeovit, it's getting really boring and I am starting to feel embarrased for you.
  5. Alastair, how about taking a reading off natural seawater then aim to keep your aquarium at the same value Regards Brendan
  6. You can also dose iron to darken up corals if you have any. Please don't ask me for any as I don't sorry .
  7. Also, an overdose in zeofood will darken corals not lighten. Once again, JMHO. Brendan
  8. Never run carbon in a reactor !!!! JMHO Brendan
  9. Since we are allowed to advertise in the forum I will too. Yes, a test kit is available from me and believe it or not it is very accurate.

    Iron

The steel wool binds up the PO4 much like the iron based phosphate removers.
  11. You should be using 0.2 of a ml. If you dose too much ZeoStart2 the bacteria will change their nourishment to ZeoStart2 as it is much more available than NO3 and your NO3 level will not go down. Dosing more ZeoStart2 would not bring down NO3. hope this helps
  12. He has always been using components of zeovit. Some people sometimes fail to mention that
  13. Yes, PM me if you want to know the costs.
  14. Do you find in NZ if you ask for chemicals from suppliers that they look at you as if your going to build a bomb ?
  15. We will see, I presume when, we get our test kits. But also be careful what you are saying about a product
  16. I'm sorry I didn't explain fully.
  17. The potassium test kit is exclusively made for korallenzucht. (Zeovit)
  18. Soon as Westy sends his photo's in.
  19. A test kit will be available soon . I will be selling it in May. Brendan
  20. Good effort Westy, I see zeovit has really improved the colours. When i first saw the tank a few years ago i was quite shocked but not anymore. I think you might win zeovit tank of the quarter this time. Brendan
