Hi we have a blue heron hanging around and feel it is time to cover our pond we also have kingfishers and shags pond is 9mtrs by 3 and a half netting I am guessing will be the best way to go pond has rocks around it which would be the best netting and does anyone know how to go about placing this over the pond

The convict have done a lot of breeding no problems, all get along just fine the dolphins all get along as well have had no problems with the yellows some say not to put yellows with dolphins but mine have been good thanks for your info

Hi I have a 450 ltr tank with 3 female and 1 male blue dolphins 2 electric yellows 7 pink convicts 1 brown and 3 golden bristlenose I want to add another 3 dolphins is my tank too small for any more thanks

Hi everyone My 2329 Eheim every time I take it out to clean it I have problems getting it going again properly this time it fills up pump starts then water starts to go down pump goes quiet then pump starts up again and the water level just sits there pump going all the time I have had enough of this filter thinking about getting a new one either another Eheim 2075 pro 3 or a Flaval FX5 I have a 450ltr tank does anyone know what could be wrong with my filter and which of the other 2 are the best cheers thanks

Thank you for that information my filter is still going and yes I will clean it less often to keep the good bacteria my fish are doing really well :happy1:

Hi thank you for your reply I read someone elses post where they tilt the cannister front ways and when it started up slowly lowered it back down I done that so far so good fingers x will let you know in a couple of days if still working :thup: :happy2:

Hi can anyone help me I cleaned my filter out like I do every fortnight this time I decided to clean all my hoses and they were pretty dirty put everything back together now not running properly the filter fills up and when it reaches the top there is a guggerling sound comes out of the breather tube and it stops will not empty I can turn off and on the switch or give the cannister a little shake and it will start up again it may go for a little while then it will stop again when it keeps going the water does not go right to the top of the filter it will go down again on its own do this for anything from 3 to 10 fills it sound like air getting in some where I have had it out numerous times but still can't find the problem it is a 2329 Eheim Professional wet/dry filter has anyone had this sort of problem appreciate any help thank you cheers Joy

My guess it is where you got them from I have Rainbows in a ph of 7.8 and temp between 25.8 to 26.8 they live with yellow electrics which are cichlids bristlenoses and kribs they are all growing up together so far so good I don't get my fish from a pet shop that is really sad you are loosing them

No I didn't know there was a fish club in Dunedin where abouts is it

Thanks to everyone the coral has been in the tank for around 5 months it is also on some of the lime stone rocks I will try to get some pics up

Welcome Holly I am not too far away from you Waihola I have a 450ltr Cichlid tank with a pair of Golden Bristle noses which have just had some baby's my first lot so exciting they are still working their way out of their sacks should be here by the end of the week cheers Joy
