Hey people! time for an update on my dennerle cube 'the perpetual forest' i had gone on holiday shortly after filling it, which was dumb. because my plants had adjusted to emmersedgrowth a lot of them meltedd and cause algae :an!gry but with a bit of tlc and some helpful shrimp things are back on track :happy2: i choose the nicest red cherries from my 30L and tucked into this, hopefully i get some nice RED babies. pogostemon helferi isnt looking to good, hopefully it perks up soon or ill have to find a replacement.

  9. Hey so i changed up my Co2 system to be able to incorparte my new 10L cube this is how i am running it atm. 2kg Co2 bottle=regulator-ADA Y-Branch-ADAspeed controller-check valve-bubble counter-diffusor. getting some reall good growth on the R.vietnam closed up at the time i took the photo

So it is done i have FINALLY flooded my 10L Dennerle cube, i have named the scape 'The perpetual forest' because i feel like i could get lost in it for eternity This is how im running my Co2 Splitting it with the Y-Branch from ADA Then using a speed controller and check valve from ADA and a bubble counter and Drop checker from Dennerle just a few more random photos Marsilea emmersed growth pearling i reckon this wood gives the impression of much larger pieces any thoughts?

  12. Update: Week 3 and a bit. Didiplus diandra starting to take shape. Rotala vietnam starting to grow Green spot algae starting to grow :angryfire time to get the tooth brush out this is how i got the R. vietnam hope you like it
  13. Thanks Goldyevil i really appreciate it I have added some rotala Vietnam now but it small and behind the Rock so you cant See it yet.

Update: So this tank has been running for 8 days now and i've done the first trimm on the Didiplus Diandra. ill be adding some Rotala Vietnam soon, to accent the Focal point (and make some plant fans jealous ;D) Things are going well, Amano Shrimp keep moving the Fluval stratum onto the white sand :facepalm: Eliocharis is starting to send out runners.

  17. Hey guy so MTS has struck again, looks like im down with a bad case ;D this time its the nice 10L cube from Dennerle. Goal of this tank is to create a well composed scape. ill just be keeping snails, maybe shrimp. plants will be pogostemon helferi, anubias petite, staurogyne repens and marsilea hirsuta. Photo time! opinions thoughts?

  19. Looks like im moving down south for studies! ill be interested to see some aquatic/petstores down there. surely better than nelson.
  20. yea some good sort gave me some advice on my facebook page ill be getting rid of these soon and getting tiger shrimp!
  21. i think that the substrate could be deeper in the groups of the stones, bit having the low substrate really accentuates the rock work.
