you could use PVC angles and hose tails?

is table salt ok to use? or does the 'anti cakeing' agents make it unsafe?

little guy is dead Smidy, haven't tested the water (don't have a test kit :oops: ) he just deteriorated throughout the day, all other fish in the tank look fine. here are some pics of him. as you can see he looks a lot worse than this morning and had started to develop a redness all over him. any ideas to what it could have been?

hes breathing normally but is only moving/swimming using his pectoral fins. all other fins are clamped tight against his body and hes realy 'stiff'. dont think hes gonna make it :tears:

Hi Guys woke up this morning to find one of my electric yellows with nearly all his colour gone on one side! Hes was fine yesterday, all active and happy but now hes swimming very slowly, like it hurts to swim? here are some not so flash cell phone pics of him. My only guess is he may have got stuck between the heater and glass and got burnt?? Any help/advice on what i should do would be greatly appreciated

Will they be agressive towards each other in times of hunger?

Thanks for the replys. Im located in feilding but not too keen on the idea of letting someone i dont know in my house while im not there. The fish are fed well, very active and healthy. Tank is 250l. Automatic feeder is not an option as funds dont allow. I might just get some feeding blocks and give them a go.

Hi guys i need some advice. Im going on holiday tomorrow afternoon till sunday and the person that is ment to be feeding my fish has pulled out! The fish i have are 10x demasoni (bout 20mm in lenth), 5x electric yellows (50mm) 2x adult bristlenose and an 8" common plec. what are my options? are those feeding blocks any good? how long will they last? How much would an automatic feeder set me back?. Will my fish be ok for this amount of time without food? Any and all help/advice appreciated. Cheers, Ben

Threw the kids in the car and had a look saturday afternoon. quite impressive! all the fish must've been hiding when i was there :slfg: Removing that white crap off the log didnt look loke much fun for the person doing it :lol:

You can use clear acrylic (perspex) instead of glass.. I have a piece of 4.5mm thick acrylic i could cut and send to you for cheap. pm if interested

Hey Ryan im located in Friendly Feilding. Yea will be selling off the giraffes and geos and the pleco (hes a messy bugger!) at the moment they're living peacfully together. How many yellows would you recomend to keep with 12 dems?

Hi Guys, i currently have a 160l tank with fith the following fish 2 x Nimbochromus Venustus (4-5") 2 x Geophagus Brasiliensis (2.5-3") 1 x Large Common Pleco (7") A heap of baby BN's and 2 random black widow tetras :lol: Im Getting a new tank - Aqua One AR980t (245l) and want to stock it with 12 Demasoni and 5 or so Electric Yellows along with the current fish i have (will get rid of the Black Widows). Would this mix/qty be ok for my new tank? Any advice/opinions appreciated
