Sorry to ask this query plecs but now they are a lot bigger i was wondeing if they are the same... they have different markings and styles but maybe everyone can put my mind to rest. hey are nice. at a glance they look like a normal brissle but when you look close they have a light brown sptty pattern over them. I have two mtto grosso brissles which are similar but have a more dominent spot. just a query GBA = golden briislenose? anyone able to see if rob can comment on this topic??

caves are all good. made lots of other spaces for the plecos. Also found out that the plecs can't turn around in the new caves so they won't be going in. keep you posted

everyone else makesit sound so easy! i might get a filter as it would make things easier. Its nice to hear from everyone but i think its odd that no one from palmy has added anything. might ask everone at the AGM this week.

hi thanks for that. the second option is too hard sorry as i would need more than my biggest spare tank to do a water change. the filter is quite big(alot bigger than one than plugs on the end a a tap for drinking) but i do not know what they are like. The lfs is selling them but $170 is a lot of money to take a risk on. not too many people do it that way obviously(ie filtering)

Hi a have always been led to beleive that when you clean your tanks that you must add chemicals (ie stresscoat & stresszyme) that i have always done it that way. but now I have been told that you can buy a filter to go onto on the end of your hose and thats all you have to do when filling the tank. Does everyone just use chemicals or do you do it other ways. all comments welcome!

you can't see them much as she won't be eating(or only a little). you won;t know if they are ready til they let them out(very protective). If she still hasn't let them out in a month then the male hasn't done his job right. so it up to you wjat you want to do.

ok sounds about right (maybe) I have the green tubes that you have to put holes in. might try those other ones!

I tried that but it does it when it it submeged any where in the tank. even if it is floating on the top!

I have purchased lately two bubble walls and once both are put in the water they vibrate so much that there is a humming noise the whole time. Just to prove it is these i took them out, changed air pumps and yep it was them. but evenwith a small air pump it is still unbearable! Please help on a fix as these tanks are in the lounge and they are REALLY ANNOYING ME

just make sure the fiter is full of water then fill the outlet pipe and also fill the inlet pipe then when you turn it on push that button. Thats all i did :-?

excellent thanks. will keep you informaed as i will do it tommorrow night. I could only find snail away. and was wonder how much per litre you put in and also how many g/l the copper sulphate is.

would it be fine even if i have dosed the tank with the others or should I do a water change first?

my silly clown loaches have got it again. What i have done so far is : raised the temp by 2deg, added tonic salt (1 tablespoon/20 litres), Green malichite (1ml/20Litres), and 5% formula(1ml /40litres). And they still have it (if not worse)after 3 days! I don't know what has brought it on as noone is being chased and there are way too many hiding places! I scared i'm going to loose more again. Please help.
