No plastic plants are safe!
Plastic can choke aquatic life.
Real plants are much better. :sml1:
Cichlids

You could always try some melafix and pimafix :gigl:

I could buy myself a group of 6 zebs, or a new car...
Or 6 years membership to my gym...
Or set up an 8ft...
Or set up another 4 fish rooms...

i was on the hunt for a clown pleco, found one out richmond, i may be wrong here but they wanted like $80-$90!! pass!!!
Wow. I couldn't have given mine away if I wanted too

My peckoltia brevis spawned but my clown loach colony proved an effective contraception.
Peckoltiva vittata came in awhile back and I thought "wow awesome something new" but they were meh.
There just isn't anything interesting anymore (in my opinion) and I know the suppliers don't want to bring in my plecs as they don't really sell.

I used to do the glad bag method until i popped a siamese fighter all over my face.

My pair spawned in a 60x40x40 which I was told would be too small
After 12 hours after introducing the female they spawned. Lots of tannins in the water, no substrate, bamboo cave, lots of novotab.
The last few times they spawned (after moving to a larger tank and introducing a second pair) they used easter island heads

Piece of poly on the floor?

I didn't treat our carpet etc, and manually removed all the fleas I could find after our puppy got infected at puppy school. It did take a few hours of work painstakingly going through every cm of his fur, and skin but got them all.
As they say, Prevention is better than the cure.

Hey guys
Cant figure out what the fish is. But they're yellow finned rasbora things. They have large finnage and I haven't seen very many. I think I remember them having blue eyes too.
I must sound like a total novice  haha
Pictures or links would be appreciated

Hey guys
I hear that BGK's will eat fishes eyes out, so I was wondering if they still would with small fancy plecs? My partner is insistant that her 10-15cm bgk wont do any harm to the fancy plecs I plan on putting in our display tank but I don't want to risk it.
Any feed back or experience?
Thanks in advance guys

Would frogs survive in a tropical tank? And is there any diseases that could be transmitted?
I know a guy who successfully kept africans and frogs in the same tank for a long time
-
Feed them decent food for a week then %50 cold water change worked for me
-
Furminators are awesome, as long as you get a real one.
Couldn't recommend them any stronger.
What did you pay for yours if you don't mind me asking?

Joshlikesfish--what previous statement? I only made that one.fertilizing plants and growing out discus are not compatable.
I never knew this... Why wouldn't it be compatable?[/quote
-
I've ran just noodles on a lot of filters with no problems. Catches quite a lot of gunky stuff
-
When growing out young discus many people have bare tanks and do daily 50% water changes
Doesn't really back up your previous statement.
Are there any catfish enthusiast's left?
