  9. for a small loach, i recomend kuhili loaches. they are a beautiful species. another small bottom dweller you could loom at is corys. there are tons of species and almost all are really hardy. you could prob still go with the botia sidthumunki, but they get bigger than 5 cm.....more like 8+ in the aquarium. do a google search on them
  10. don't forget that botia sidthumunki aren't dwarf size. I have heard of some fairly large ones
  11. get a wireless connection caryl
  12. hey, welcome. only got a 3 foot?? i thought you would have a 4 foot plus by now    :P

I'm quite willing to rescue any tanks....especially big ones  of course, they would find a good home in my bedroom but yeah, it's not a bad idea. I would service fish tanks around the place if somthing was to start up
  14. I'm useing a fluval 203 on exactly the same size tank  or course, every one knows i like cannsiter filters

  18. I don't even try to understand it maybe that is why i'm not a reefer (and the money thing  ) as long as my fish look happy and healthy and they are eating, i'm happy
  19. java fern or java moss will be good on the drift wood. amazon swords are a really easy plant stem plants are easy as and grow really quick. ludwigia is a good one thats a start......
  20. dammit, i didn't realise there was another page
  21. we use the new zealand dollar in new zealand I would just go for a 100w heater for your tank BTW
  22. even though RTBS are aggresive, they don't hold a candle to most cichlids...so there is another reason the one caryl brought up is a good one too
  23. cool chris I'm not complaining about my red-ear...he was given to me
  24. Get a couple more and you won't need fluro tubes If you have them in the right spectrum they do more than standard fluro tubes
