agreed dont add any more fish till amonia is reading zero, keep doing regular water changes till its at zero.
how oftern do you usually do water changes? eg every week or two?
i think sump is the way to got, you can put what ever you want in the plus a heck of alot more media than a canister filter amazon fx5 just get a voltage converter thy are cheap like $10
no i dont think a bristlenose would have killed it but it would have had a good snack after it was dead, did the fish seem fine before it died? eg swimming fine, eating??
ok i have a stand that has a middle support and i want to put a sump in there but would have to take the middle support out, so what would be the best way to support it without the middle bit?

Because 1 you can fit more media in like, sponges, filter wool, bio-noodles and 2 hides things like heaters etc
