when i had them i crushed the ones on the sides and the eggs then out a potato in and the snails are attracted to the potato so every day remove the potato with snails on, takes a while but eventually gets rid of them

$10 a heat pad is quite a lot if you get them off tm or off people off here they usually are $3-4, also try New World as i got a poly box for a New World in Taupo for $1

maybe try some tank makers in your area

if i had known you needed a poly box i could have given you one before you left, if not you could use a insulated bag

if you have a poly box, just put a bag of warm water in, as you wont really need a heat pad for a 5 hour trip

does any one have any pictures of pluming for multiple air outlets for a fish room?

i cant remember but i changed the pump on an aquaone - 380 and it ended up flowing off to the side where there was a hole(back into the tank)

you have to watch the drip plate thing as i tried this but my pump was too powerful and just overflowed, have you changed the impeller?
