HEllo I brought a golden spot pleco 2 weeks ago, and i hardly ever see him The guy at the store said that they like to hide out in caves, so i made him one with some rocks, and i angled it so i could see into it. He usually in there, but never swims around, and every time i walking the room he quickly disappears into the cave again How do i get him to like me ??? lol

Could you vent the room? like install one of thoz bathroom things _ "Exhaust Fan" I dont think they are too expensive, they sell them at Miter 10 mega, and you could properly cut the hole yourself

Im trying to breed my cory's. Can i get away with only turning the light on when i feed them? which would be about 2 hours a day? The tank during the day has reflected light on it from the walls, so its not pitch black. Are they not they mostly blind any ways?

Yea thats true. I have one, they basically push the water though a long box suspended out of the water. really quite filters! i have mine in my room, and i hardly notice it at all.

That would work, but you would need to keep the carbon in one of though's mesh bags to stop it from draining out the holes. Will you put a lip on top of the container? good luck! P.S If you build it, can you make a picture dairy???!!?!?!

Ok i have just put my biggest female into the 60L tank. She is swimming around inside the mesh net/cage thing. So far the male hasn't even noticed her, he is preoccupied chasing his reflexion up and down the glass.. Does it take a while to get things going ? or should i feed them blood worms now?
