Does anyone else have one of these? i brought my one at the 'Aqua fun day' From Animates. Its a nice tank, but im have problems with hair algae, on my two small Java ferns and i would like to start planting then tank more it to hopefully solve the issue. What plants would do well in this tank? Blue planet specs : 2X 13W T5 lighting 70 long x 42 high x 45 deep ish (cm) Because the lighting adds to 26 Watts, does that mean that it is low lighting? Also being T5 does that solve that problem? **Edit** Heres a photo Thanks

I got it from my local store in Mirama. I told the guy, the one who owns the store, that i had brought some Danios and they had white spot. He sold me melafix ... he said it was really popular, wouldnt stain my sand and will fix my problem.

Ok so i have just dosed the tank with this thing called 'Melafix' its meant to be a natural type of medication.

Well im heating the tank slowly to try and get the white spots to develop, like i have been told But they seem ok atm

Its not that well planted, like a few Java ferns - hoping to get more, and mostly rocks and caves. I have 2 female fighters, 5 Kuhlis, a Goldspot pleco, 6 Panda Corys, 13 neons and the 6 danios Animates is closed now I just tried. Ill call tomo. But yea, if they wont pay for the treatment ill just pick it up from my lfs I think ur right about it developing , because the currently the white spots are very small and the dianos move so quickly that they are very hard to see. So i wouldn't have been about to see it @ the pet store

What a headache ! I have just introduced 6 of them into my community tank, and have discovered their fins and bodys scatters with white spots!!! ARGHH!!!! why?!?!?! So now i need to treat it... What do i use? - will it stain my silica sand?!? And do u think Animates should pay for the treatment? :-?
