 Thanks. I'm trying to take a shot of the polysperma daily to see how fast it grows.

I mean from the very bottom of the tank, the base of the tank. Like where the sand sits.

I hope you don't mean from underneath the tank's base
  5. Thanks. Maybe keep it local then?

No one noticed my new plant addition  I'll give a free photo of ANY angle of the tank to who ever can spot what I added. Here's some clues, it's small, nothing special and visible in the picture N1CK quoted.

But if you used two juice bottles full of CO2 you wouldn't need a diffuser

Well said maoripho3nix I will reduce the bottle size and try to move it to a less obvious place, the position it's at now was just putting the least amount of strain on the outlet pipe. Remember that this tank is new, therefore quite barren.

Good boy, one goldstar for you. Wait, minus 10 for dissing my diffuser. Total stands at -9 right now

If you read the whole thread instead of diving in, you'd know that the "sag/grass stuff on the left" is Lilaeopsis, it should stay that height.

I had $30.00 in my wallet last time I checked. I prefer DIY, I'll make a better one, not that it matters. It is MY tank after all.
  13. I think it depends on how long after you made the post. A few seconds and nothing shows.
  14. *shifty eyes* Slip us some Eheim pro media oi *hand behind back*
  15. The concept of cycling a tank can be confusing and daunting for beginners, sometimes so much so that they choose not to cycle. This causes many problems and questions down the track, often questions being asked as to why their fish have died. Recently I was looking at my 2213 canister filter and thinking, that sure is a lot of bio media in there, maybe I could share some? So here are my questions... 1. Would exchanges small amounts of media e.g 15 of my seeded ceramic rings for 15 of your brand new ceramic rings, be a viable way of getting cycled media out to new tanks? 2. If so, how long can it last in transit? 3. Who would be keen on this idea? No money changing hands except for perhaps shipping if the media would hold out that long or if you have no media to give in return. Thanks!

Sure, if you buy one for me Now that'd be cool. If only I had strong light :-?

You're lucky I like cats... It's not overly noticeable, I have a new plan for a smaller and more efficient one pulling on ideas from N1CK and maoripho3nix. LOL N1CK, I just can't ship but yeah, I do adore her I fear the pointed stick much less than the ban hammer (yes, I know you're hiding it somewhere Zev ) Because If I take it out all my CO2 will escape...
