  1. Hi David Sorry no actual meeting in December. But wait... ... there's more We are instead having a BBQ It is not too late to join. Just PM your details to seahorsemad (Club Treasurer) and she will sort you out with membership. Or you can PM me with your details. Cheers Wok
  2. I would say at least a Fluval 405 cost new would be around $300, in Auckland anyway. There is also Jebos, Eheims worthwhile looking for. Jebo, Cheaper Eheim, More expensive.
  3. FNZAS (Federation of New Zealand Aquatic Societies) Is the umbrella organisation of all the fish clubs in New Zealand Auckland Fishkeepers is a member of the FNZAS South Auckland do have a club but there are approximately 4 members in that club and they meet once a year around dinner. Auckland Fishkeepers would be your closest active club Burgo. Since Rockerpeller lives out your way, you guys could car pool to the club meetings, which are located in Green Bay. When you join up with a fish club you get copies of the fabulous Aquarium World Magazine which is put together by the ever so kind Caryl. You will have access to the clubs fish books and magazines, Enter the breeding scheme and possibly win a trophy And best of all get to meet like minded fishy people. One last thing. I believe Auckland fishkeepers has the lowest membership fees in Auckland
  4. actually with the conversion rate and freight added into it... you ain't going to get it cheaper unless you get it yourself. then again you do have to bring in more than one to make it worth while. I got in 6 myself.

  18. But Caryl... you can buy the colour you need. Unlike cheap inkjet cartridgyes wehre you have to replace the all colours when one colour runs out
  19. As long as you keep supplying the plant books I think people here would be happy
  20. Hi bulldog... yep that is what I would do. Transfer all the stuff from the old into the new and go on as per normal. It would be like you did a big water change.

    cursed tank??

Your problem is NO filter with Goldfish. As Sharn said. Goldfish are filthy buggers. You definitely need a filter for them.. or you change the water daily.
