  13. Here is a couple shots of my chocolate cichlids Using new canon A630 camera
  14. I have found that there are lots of blood worms when you leave a whole banana floating in your tank of daphnia. after a time the banana will split and inside it is a whole lot of bloodoworms wriggling around. HTH
  15. "You Cup overfloweth"

  17. Here is what the New Zealand Herald have to say. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/section/1/sto ... d=10452715 And this from the christchurch Press http://www.stuff.co.nz/4134511a11.html
  18. 40 Litres would be big enough for a pair of convicts. at work I have a 30L tank with a pair of convicts and 30 fry at the moment. fry are 1cm long too. Only problem is 2 water changes per week
  19. There was a news segment about the danios on TV One news tonight. might be able to find it on the TVNZ website
  20. Problem with gambusia is that if you get caught with them you will be fined by MAF Guppies in my opinion breed faster than WCMM, However in saying that, WCMM will happily breed by them selves in a bathtub outside the house.. you definitely get more in warmer weather. Convicts could be another good source of feeders as they breed quite quickly if they are in a tank by themselves. I still have some that are now 3cm+ (approx 50 of them)
  21. The petrified ones are on the outside already
  22. Must be you Alan.. My killies love human interaction. Mine don't frighten easily and they DON"T JUMP!!! Even some P82 I picked up a few weeks ago won't jump  My acclimatisation is.... pick out fish from bag and chuck into new tank.... yeah yeah yeah.. bad thing to do... but... NO problems so far (touching wood)
