    I just use edmonds yeast, and sugar. i put some sugar, some yeast and water. :lol: use a diffuser to diffuse it. general ratios are 2cups sugar : 1 tspn yeast

    I had 3 males and they just would not stop fighting. One was sickish when i got him so the 2 healthy ones threw him out the tank. then yesterday after weeks of puffing at each other the 2 I had left had a fight and now I have only 1 male left. Im getting females either this week or the next. They are a pretty weird fish.

    yes, that's exactly it.

    take the outlet pipe and put it below / at the filter level. lots of bubbles may come out. make sure you put the outlet in a bucket though.

    That "puppy" is about 24 years old (I'm 22 :lol:) poor puppy has been through a lot - spent months and months sailing at sea, been to more countries than most people have; but has never had to put up with what rusty has to offer.

    I was looking it up, not "looking up"! Then I sat there wondering what exactly I was looking up :roll: Maybe if you put a comma after Look up - it would have made more sense to me. :lol:

    I actually will say that the recent batches of discus from the wholesalers are absolutely brilliant, so cudos to them for that! If you see any golden sunrises, or hifin blue diamonds, snap them up cause they really are very nice. how big is your tank and what do you have in it?

    if he bought the glo/hagen lighthood he does not need reflectors or any thing else but the tubes.
