hi the reason i ask about the aqua 2700 is that its half the price of a fx5 :-? just recently one of my fx5s broke down and the replacement part is $400. i know and love fx5s but the spares are pretty expensive(in this case anyway) am looking to get canisters to run on one big tank. cheers

Thanks I'll ask them. So only one person on that list is building tanks in chch and b & s are not building larger tanks..... Time for a update I think :-)

hi thanks yeah im in the slow process of cladding the outside with melamine can make steel stands too :thup:

ive got 4 fx5s and the eheim seams to move more water than a fx5 :happy2:

does anyone run these? ive just installed mine with all new parts apart from the body and im quite impressed by how much water this thing can move! :thup: Eheim love!

hi ive got my siphon on a water timer, and it hasnt broken siphon since ive set it up, about 2 years now
