hi normally i put them in a containar with an airstone and remove all pearl white couloured eggs and add some meth blue if you have some. After a few days they will start to grow a tail out of the egg. Do not feed the baby cory untill all of the egg is used up, the egg is its starting energy source. when done use some liquifry or have some live bbs ready to feed, microworms may be fine. Once they lookk like fish type feed the decap brinshrimp eggs purchase them of tm if u dont hav them

Hi i got photos of my female white butterfly discus

in my breeding pair my female is a buttrfly and my male is normal piegon

about 3-6cm probably around 6 months old

This morning when i woke up my albino cory were spawning. kinda knew this was going to happen because they always spawn after i have turned on the air stone.this is like their on off button so i have to turn off the airstone ready to make them spawn when i want them. i also have a video i took on my phone of them in the t position and one of the females holding her eggs in her clamped fins but after uploading its gone bad quality but still you can see it here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fNZsiPcWjhM. any replys welcome

I was wondering how juvenile corys will do with adult discus.Any suggestions

how about corydora. there pretty cheap to get and easily breed and you can involve yourself more in the caring of the eggs and they are intresting to watch when they are spawning

how about running it through a bench filter i think we have one of those

just wonderin what the average ph of tap water in maukau auckland is cos i think my ph kits playin up

So theres really point to using fridge water. So im goin to tap water

i was wondering if fridge filtered water would be alright for discus. I would heat the water in a seperate tank for automatic water changes and i checked the ph and it was around 5-6 . would there be any problem.

Hi thanks all for replying and i think the females fins are coming back. The tail fin which was opaque white coloured before is now turning black as it was before but very slowly. This is sure a good sign i hope Thanks Manmeet

Congratulations Newborn cories sometimes do not feed on decap brineshrimp eggs straight away. When all of the corys egg sacs are gone then you should try feed liquifry(egg-laying), BBS or -- iv tried this once, the yellow yolk in the middle of a boiled egg (fouls the water quickly and should not be kept it in the tank for long). try feeding decap eggs later and its really cool because you can see the brine shrimp eggs in the stomachs of the baby cory.

So yesterday i put two pills in because my tank is 80l and today after doing 50% waterchange put two more in today. There is little recovery yet but will see what happens. Will post some pics soon
