Well I think that particular petfood company might need to have a chat to their marketing team. Not all rottweilers play nice in public. I think partially it should be the dog owners responsibility not to bring a dog that is not stranger friendly into an environment like a huge pet retailer. However, dangling a carrot like free petfood (and I bet it's not cheap either) of course will mean people won't be thinking rationally. "I'll just take my agressive un-socialised dog in, get the food and leave" What a shame too, I love Rottweilers they're absolutely lovely dogs.

Now let's be realistic here. Most rotties are great family pets. Some, however are not - they are owned by people who like to fight dogs or treat them badly. Now those kind of people like free stuff just as much as the families do. What on earth possessed the GM to give the ohk for that kind of promotion? Bring your Pomeranian in for free food = yes. Bring your Rottweiler = no. Shame on animates. Agreed.

Yeah i've kept with with neons. Keep them fed enough and you won't have any issues... Generally they are more active at night and neons sleep close to the bottom.

Hi all. I've done lots of research about all the fish that we want in the tank. This is the list we've come up with and I just want to know what order people think they should be added to the tank. For obvious reasons the Mandarin will be the last, ages down the track. I've tried to pick fish that won't compete with a mandarin and that are all compatible with each other so please correct me if I'm wrong! So far: Blue spot sleeper Blue/green chromis Firefish Mandarin Royal gramma Secretive wrasse and I've just added yellow prawn goby, though I haven't researched him completely yet... Which order or does it not matter so much with this list?

You get chillers from your LFS They're not cheap but not super expensive and sometimes they pop up on TM.

You'll need a chiller. They like their water COLD. Catching them is easy, a net + a river. The smaller the river the better PM Stella she's a wealth of knowledge around natives. Also try the search function or read back on this part of the forum as there's heaps of info about looking after and catching natives! :bounce:

I just stumbled across this thread, Yes that is mine. $500 is justified with what I bought the original small pot for years ago. And if I divided it up and sold it that's what it would fetch retail.
